Stage de Master-2 <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
R\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 ERIC, aura une dominante math\u00e9matique et statistique. Il porte sur la formalisation d\u2019indices num\u00e9riques d\u2019influence, de visibilit\u00e9, de r\u00e9ciprocit\u00e9, d\u2019asym\u00e9trie et de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre dans des graphes h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes. Il mobilisera la th\u00e9orie des graphes, l\u2019analyse de r\u00e9seaux, la mod\u00e9lisation probabiliste et les m\u00e9thodes d\u2019\u00e9valuation statistique afin de produire des mesures rigoureuses, comparables et interpr\u00e9tables. Ce stage permettra de consolider le socle formel du projet et d\u2019ouvrir des perspectives m\u00e9thodologiques pour l\u2019analyse quantitative de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes complexes issus des SHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stage de Master-2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
R\u00e9alis\u00e9 au LIRIS, est ax\u00e9 sur la data analytics, la science des donn\u00e9es et l\u2019analyse appliqu\u00e9e. Il vise \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre les indicateurs d\u00e9finis dans le cadre du premier stage sur des corpus r\u00e9els repr\u00e9sentant des r\u00e9seaux d\u2019influence scientifiques, culturels ou institutionnels. Il portera sur la construction, la curation, l\u2019interrogation et la visualisation de graphes de donn\u00e9es, en combinant des bases de donn\u00e9es de graphes, des requ\u00eates analytiques, l\u2019apprentissage automatique et des outils d\u2019exploration visuelle. Ce stage permettra d\u2019\u00e9valuer la pertinence op\u00e9rationnelle des indices formalis\u00e9s \u00e0 ERIC et de produire des analyses contextualis\u00e9es des dynamiques de circulation, de visibilit\u00e9 et d\u2019invisibilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u2019articulation entre les deux stages est centrale : le premier apportera les fondements math\u00e9matiques, statistiques et m\u00e9thodologiques, tandis que le second assurera leur mise en \u0153uvre computationnelle, leur validation empirique et leur interpr\u00e9tation \u00e0 partir de donn\u00e9es situ\u00e9es. M\u00eame si chaque stage sera administrativement rattach\u00e9 \u00e0 un laboratoire principal (ERIC pour le premier, LIRIS pour le second), des r\u00e9unions conjointes r\u00e9guli\u00e8res garantiront une continuit\u00e9 scientifique entre les deux volets du projet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Les partenaires en SHS contribueront \u00e9galement \u00e0 la d\u00e9finition des questions de recherche, \u00e0 la pertinence contextuelle des corpus, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation qualitative des r\u00e9sultats et \u00e0 leur interpr\u00e9tation critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cette organisation permettra de former deux \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s \u00e0 des approches hybrides, \u00e0 la fois formelles, computationnelles et interdisciplinaires, tout en consolidant les bases d\u2019une collaboration durable entre les math\u00e9matiques, l\u2019informatique, la data science et les SHS au sein de la FIL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MASTER INTERSHIP POSITIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Master Internship (1\/2)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
To be carried out at ERIC, with a focus on mathematics and statistics. It will focus on the formalisation of numerical indices of influence, visibility, reciprocity, asymmetry and imbalance in heterogeneous graphs. It will draw on graph theory, network analysis, probabilistic modelling and statistical evaluation methods to produce rigorous, comparable and interpretable measures. This placement will help to consolidate the formal foundation of the project and open up methodological avenues for the quantitative analysis of complex phenomena in the social sciences and humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Master Internship<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
To be carried out at LIRIS, focuses on data analytics, data science and applied analysis. It aims to apply the indicators defined during the first internship to real-world corpora representing scientific, cultural or institutional influence networks. It will focus on the construction, curation, querying and visualisation of data graphs, combining graph databases, analytical queries, machine learning and visual exploration tools. This placement will enable us to assess the operational relevance of the metrics formalised at ERIC and to produce contextualised analyses of the dynamics of circulation, visibility and invisibilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The interconnection between the two internships is central: the first will provide the mathematical, statistical and methodological foundations, whilst the second will ensure their computational implementation, empirical validation and interpretation based on context-specific data. Although each phase will be administratively attached to a lead laboratory (ERIC for the first, LIRIS for the second), regular joint meetings will ensure scientific continuity between the two parts of the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Partners from the social sciences and humanities will also contribute to defining the research questions, ensuring the contextual relevance of the corpora, carrying out a qualitative assessment of the results, and providing a critical interpretation of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This organisational structure will enable two students to be trained in hybrid approaches\u2014which are at once formal, computational and interdisciplinary\u2014whilst consolidating the foundations for a lasting collaboration between mathematics, computer science, data science and the social sciences and humanities within the FIL.<\/p>\n\n\n
