Sherin M. Moussa is Full Professor at Faculty of Computer & Information Sciences (FCIS), Ain Shams University (ASU), and currently, she is on a national mission to the Université Française d’Égypte, Cairo, Egypt as the Deputy Vice President for Research and Postgraduate Studies and Head of Computer Engineering Department. She had her PhD degree in conjunction with the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA in 2010. In addition to her teaching, research contributions and publications in highly ranked international journals and conferences, she has +23 years of experience in IT multiple/complex national/regional projects. Her research interests include Internet of Things, Service-oriented Computing, Big Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data Mining, Bioinformatics, and Data Privacy Preservation and Publishing. Prof. Moussa is a consultant to many organizations, with industrial experience. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Next Generation Scholars (NGS) research group, Co-organizer of several international workshops and conferences, as well as Guest Editor and Certified Recognized Reviewer at many reputable journals. She was previously the Director of the Quality and Accreditation Unit at FCIS, Foreign Affairs Consultant at the Research & Development of Projects Center, and Director of Grants and International Collaboration Office at ASU.
