The course aims to equip participants with conceptual and practical tools to:
- Understand key concepts of Gender+, DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), and intersectionality in research and innovation.
- Identify how social and structural factors (e.g., gender, ethnicity, class, geography) shape research design, data collection, and access to innovation.
- Detect gendered and exclusionary assumptions in research questions, hypotheses, sampling, and experimental protocols.
- Integrate sex-disaggregated and gender-sensitive variables into data collection and analysis plans where relevant.
- Strengthen alignment of research practice with Horizon Europe/MSCA requirements on gender dimension, inclusiveness, and societal relevance.
- Develop more responsible, reflexive, and inclusive research practices across disciplines.
