This course addresses core expectations of Horizon Europe and Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) regarding gender equality, inclusive research design, research quality, intersectoral relevance, and responsible research and innovation (RRI). It supports participants in integrating Gender+ and intersectional perspectives into the design, implementation, and evaluation of research activities, with particular attention to how gender, ethnicity, class, and geography shape scientific questions, data collection, innovation uptake, and societal impact.
The course contributes to research impact by helping participants identify hidden assumptions in research design and improve the validity, robustness, and relevance of their methods. It also supports the development of transversal competencies expected in MSCA training, including reflexivity, ethics, societal engagement, and responsible data practices.
