Martina Brocchi (she/her) is a Master’s student in the Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics, and System Engineering at the University of Genoa, Italy. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2022. She has a strong interest in data management and analysis, with particular reference to issues related to diversity, equality, and inclusion. She is currently working on her Master’s thesis, which focuses on Fairness-Aware Federated Learning to address representation bias in classification tasks.
